New Spring Menu
At Aston Pottery we put the same love and attention into our food as we do our pottery. Therefore we choose a few of our main dishes to put on sale each day ensuring maximum quality and taste. All the dishes are prepared and cooked by our talented kitchen team using local ingredients wherever possible.
Of course we still have our flans, jacket potatoes, paninis, soup, and baps on sale at lunchtime should you prefer. Please come into the café to see the latest selection.
Please note that lunch is served from 12 noon until 2.30pm,
although we cannot guarantee that all the selection
will still be available for the whole lunch period.

Salmon & Leek Gratin
Delicate salmon is layered up with leeks in this dish with a white wine sauce
using the poaching liquor from the salmon. The dish is then topped with crispy
croutons and some cheddar cheese for a satisfying lunch.
Springtime Cottage Pie (GF)
A springtime take on a cottage pie, local beef mince is used along with carrots,
leeks, celery and courgettes in a sauce. The pie is then topped with fluffy
herb infused mashed potato.
Chicken, Bacon, Leek and Tarragon Pot Pie
Succulent pieces of chicken breast, bacon and leeks in a tarragon béchamel sauce
are placed into individual pots and topped with puff-pastry for the perfect pie.
Lancashire Hot Pot
Award winning Patrick Strainge butchers supplies the lamb for this and is used to create
a mouth-watering dish that is topped with sliced potatoes to finish this classic dish.
Caramelised Red Onion, Feta & Olive Slice
Slow-cooked caramelised onions sit upon puff pastry and then olives and
tangy feta cheese are crumbled on top for an exquisite tasting slice.
Bacon, Leek and Potato Bake (GF)
Back bacon, soft leeks and potatoes are layered up in a dish with a creamy dish
and is finished with cheddar cheese for an indulgent tasty meal.
